Peter O’Keefe is the Co-Founder and Visionary of O’Keefe Stevens Advisory, a firm established in 2017, alongside partners Marissa Bell, Carly Flanigan, and Justin Stevens. Peter focuses on the company’s vision and researching investments. Under their stewardship, the firm has grown to manage over $500 million in client assets.
A graduate of Canisius University with a BS in Finance, Peter is a lifelong student of financial history, drawing inspiration from legendary investors like Christopher H. Browne, Warren Buffett, Philip A. Fisher, Benjamin Graham, Charles Munger, John Templeton, and Martin Whitman. His investment philosophy focuses on a deep-discount approach, believing that concentrated ownership in well managed and financially strong businesses provides the best path to long-term wealth. In 2024, O’Keefe Stevens Advisory was recognized for its rapid growth, earning a spot on both the INC 5000 list and Rochester’s Top 100. Peter attributes much of his success to his commitment to stewardship, a guiding principle that influences both his professional and personal life.
Peter and his wife, Renee, live in Rochester with their two children, Dallas and DJ. The family shares a passion for sports and frequently travels to catch their favorite teams in action. Avid Buffalo Bills fans, they love supporting their in-state teams.
